Worrying What Other People Think Is Fake News!

We have unwittingly become “contributors on assignment” for the FAKE NEWS CHANNEL. And it is streaming 24/7 across the cinema of our mind and coursing through the chambers of our beating heart.

It all starts when we inadvertently give birth to the problem by comparing ourselves to a plasticized and idealized view of others. Talk about fake news! The world is wrong. It’s that simple.
So how do we turn the channel?
We can start by identifying the lies we have embraced and made “true.” We can look past the media. We can put an end to the futile exercise of comparing ourselves to others.
This will usher in the truth that we are fearfully and wonderfully hand-crafted by God and made in his image.
“Fear not, therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.” Matthew 10:31
Just think if we lived immune to what we perceive to be views and expectations of others…and concentrated solely on the expectations of Jesus.
Courage in Christ gives us the power to embrace who we are at every moment.  We are not what society and randomness have made us.  We are not what says we are.  We are what God made us to be.
God has painted us in a dappled palette of shadows and light. It is our mission to discover our unique colors on that palette so they can be viewed by others and used by God as we actualize our purpose and destiny in Christ.
Is the Fake News Channel on in your mind’s house?
“Therefore do not throw away your confidence, which has a great reward.” Hebrews 10:35

Hey, like this? Why not share it with a buddy?
