It’s easy to let the FUTURE be something that we simply “wait for” and “let happen.” God says DON’T DO IT!
This affects life in general and specifically our walk with Christ. It also comes into our work and career. However, it is not about us doing God’s work and architecting the future on our own. That’s playing boss and it’s wrong.
Our future is in God’s hands, of course. But that doesn’t mean we go to sleep and stay silent in building the road ahead.
My point pivots off our role in that process as we join God in shaping each day’s wet clay into the future we want and he desires.
It’s like building a brick road into the future God envisions for our life each day we walk with Christ.
How do we do it?
Simply do what God has for you each day, but pay attention to his direction for your tomorrows.
What does that look like translated to a daily prayer? Ask God for help in seeking his direction on your future tomorrows while you live each today.
HOW ABOUT YOU?
Are you asking for God’s direction on your future and all of the tomorrows in the midst of today’s busyness and complications?
