Are YOU In The World’s Race To The BOTTOM?

The CROSS crashed the world’s stage. Illuminated the darkness. Saved the world. That is the power of EASTER to provide a wonderful opportunity for Christians to refresh our faith. To rekindle our commitment to Christ. To re-rack and deepen our belief in the God of Heaven and earth. This year’s celebration yesterday was a blessing for me and I hope it was for you, too.
  
Easter 2021 came just as this ministry put its toe into April and committed to AMPLIFYING our belief in God. Just as we started to move from what I call “lower-case belief ” to BELIEVING WITH A CAPITAL B. Just as the world devolves another level on its race to its evil bottom.
  
That devolution is important to this month’s believe-with-a-CAPITAL-B story.
  
Never before in the history of everything has the world had such power to entice and attract vulnerable souls to its “side.” The internet is the Enemy’s most powerful tool—EVER–to recruit vulnerable souls to secularism and humanism. 
  
The point here is simple:
  
Believing in God with a CAPITAL B and fully activating our faith has never been more difficult. That ominous backdrop does not lessen the power of Christ to prevail, of course. But it does make it IMPERATIVE for every believer to be INTENTIONAL about the depth of their belief. The ­­­­­­­­­­­depth of their commitment. The depth of their obedient surrender.
  
Why is it imperative to be intentional about believing with a CAPITAL B? Because it does not come automatically by attending church, working in a soup kitchen, and thinking good thoughts. It cannot come without deep, unfettered BELIEF that God is with us in all circumstances and we, together, will prevail.
  
I will simplify today’s primary point in the believe-with-a-CAPITAL-B story to this singular thread:
  
We must move our focus from our problems and challenges and difficulties to God’s INFINITE POWER. Away from our circumstances and trials and toward realizing that life’s fight is not mine…it is GOD’s.
  
TRY IT!
  
Of course give your challenges to God through prayer. But focus intently and intensely on his Goodness. His sovereignty. His righteousness.
  
Praise God for overseeing ALL outcomes.
  
Why? Because it is not really about the outcome. It is about the process and how that connects us to God and his discerning hand and direction so we can live out our purpose for him and his Kingdom.
  
I give 100% of the glory to God because he is faithful. And I ask him to strengthen my belief so I trust him more.
