The exact moment we start praying, God answers because he loves us very much.
Daniel gives us that incredible promise…
“…Daniel, I have now come to give you insight and understanding. As soon as you began to pray, a word went out, which I have come to tell you, for God loves you very much.” Daniel 9:22-23
This immediate and powerful answer to Daniel’s prayer gives me confidence to pray more often and with amplified, passionate expectancy.
If our petitions are grounded in God’s promises and trusting in his amazing grace, we can be assured of his immediate attention.
It’s the trust we learn about from the prophet Isaiah:
“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.” Isaiah 43:2
Sweeping rivers and blazing flames will never separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus. Wow.
For me, I ask God to constantly remind me that the moment I start to pray he is answering because he loves me so much.
