She Redefined GOOD So Things Would Not Go BAD

Spiritual Growth

God showers us with his blessings and grace every day, even if … and even while trouble storms our life’s gate. He is always watching over us. He knows about our suffering. He cares about our insecurity.

“The Lord watches over the righteous and listens to their cries.” Psalm 34:15

God greets us with this gift every day, just as the sun dutifully takes its position in the morning sky. But we often miss it because of our fixation on the perils of tomorrow.

We slip into that trap even though God promises to do anything and everything to preserve our eternal future with him.

How do we trust that Protection Promise from God?

Rerack the definition of GOOD by acknowledging that GOOD will not always feel to us like the world’s definition of GOOD.

God wants our spiritual confidence to be so high that we can face anything without wavering. If we reach that point, life can become a GLORIOUS OPPORTUNITY to see beauty and significance in all things. That is the re-racked definition of GOOD.

God’s deep desire is to move us into this cradle of power where uncertainty does not automatically trigger trepidation and fear.

The deeper our connection with God, the deeper we will feel GOD’s goodness when our first inclination is to go in the opposite direction.

Getting to that spot starts with an introspective probe of our pride. We need to ditch the misguided notion that our wisdom is enough to navigate life’s unpredictable canal that has GOOD on one side and BAD on the other.

“Be not wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and turn away from evil.” Proverbs 3:7

I ask God to help me understand how HE wants me to look at what is good and what is bad.

WHAT ABOUT YOU?

How do you define “FEELING GOOD”?

“Do not be anxious, saying; what shall we eat, or what shall we drink, or what shall we wear?” Matthew 6:31

Hey, like this? Why not share it with a buddy?
